Vlieland Off Season

Vlieland is one of the West Frisien Islands, located in the Wadden Sea. The main source of income is tourism. This work focus lies in the atmosphere of the off season.

Vlieland is the Wadden Island that is the most remote from the mainland.

This quiet island has only one village. It has the North Sea to the north and the Waddenzee to the south.

In a flood in 1287 Vlieland was divided from the mainland of Friesland, which formed the Waddenzee.
